Welcome to the Caltech Olive Harvest Festival Website!

Hello and welcome to the Caltech Olive Harvest website. We have successfully held two campus-wide Olive Harvests since 2007 and we were hoping to hold the 3rd Annual Olive Harvest Festival this fall. However, Caltech's Finest Olive Oil company is reporting a record low in olive production this year---that is, for years in which no spraying was involved. We believe the lack of olives along the Olive Walk, along with scant olives on trees elsewhere on campus, is due to extreme weather conditions last spring when the olive trees were beginning to blossom. Without olives we won't have a harvest festival, we're sad to report. Please return here for information on next year's harvest.
